By this point in time, we've been around the block (a few times) when it comes to home offices, but it's rare that a space captures our heart so much that we spend more time looking at photos of it, than we do watching Justin Beiber videos. This blue beauty stopped us in our tracks and even has room for bike storage!

Matt Eastwood, an Australian advertising executive and the blogger behind things i have seen, shares his Sydney home and office. You work as creative director of DDB Group but you also blog from home. How long have you worked from home…and where is ‘home’? I started “things I have seen” about 12 months ago. What originally began as an online scrapbook of my favourite things has gradually turned into something resembling a second job.

While some of us here at Unplggd may have been big collectors of Micro Machines when they blew up in the 90's, there seems to be another serious movement going around, with plenty of household items receiving the shrink ray treatment. This time, we have modernists' miniature tech and furniture stirring up a storm in the Etsy marketplace and Vitra Museum Store, churning out tiny-iMacs and Eames chairs for grown-up versions of dream dollhouses.

It's that time of year again! Small, Cool 2010 is in full effect and some creative dwellers have started to send in their entries for this year's prize -- a design shopping trip in New York with Apartment Therapy's very own Maxwell! Of course we've been procrastinating over on the Small, Cool 2010 site, perusing this year's entries. There are some beautiful spaces, including some cool media rooms and home offices. We'll be rounding up five tech spaces from the contest at the end of every week, but check out the contest site to look over all the entries. We're pretty green with envy over the amazing rooms people have created.

040910-biolite1-kristen.jpg We love camping. We love just about everything about camping &mdash except for how long it takes to prepare food sometimes. The actual cooking doesn't take long, it's the prep work. It takes forever to get a fire going and quite a long time to get coals hot enough to use. We've always wanted something that could help speed up the process (we thought we were alone in our city slicker-ness, but apparently not!)

Name: Felix Gieselmann Location: Vienna, Austria Your Home Office Organization or Tech Tip: I've just finished my home office and I think it turned out pretty nice!! I'm an industrial design student from Vienna, so I did most of the things on my own. The legs of the table were a gift, and I painted them white. The top of the table I made at the studio of my university, as well as the stands of my speakers, which I bought last year in Berlin. I use the BlueLounge Cable Drops, as well as a cable organizer from Ikea which I "reconstructed" to fit to my top, to keep the desk tidy. The painting and the fur were a gift, but I think they fit really well.

040910_rg_StudyLite_01.jpgThis light was developed with the goal of creating a light source that was safe for using for extended hours while studying. It's true that not all lights are good for this task. The StudyLite won a Red Dot award for its design, which is kind of awesome as well.

We love our new iPad, and while the device is fun to use it sure does get smudged easily. While looking at an old pillowcase made of super soft material (like our eyeglass cleaning cloth) and part of a sweater we had leftover from when we made a laptop sleeve, we came upon a simple solution. We would use the pillowcase and sweater to make an iPad sleeve. By combining the material from the sweater with that of the pillowcase we would have a sleeve that would not only protect our iPad, but it would also provide an easy way to remove smudges due to the super soft lining made from the pillowcase. Here is our step by step guide showing how we used our basic sewing skills and created our vision of the perfect iPad sleeve out of a sweater and pillowcase.

Name: Jackie Von Tobel Location: Las Vegas, Nevada Your Home Office Organization or Tech Tip: I'm an interior designer, bestselling author and product designer so I have many projects going on at the same time. I organize everything I need for each job in custom spiral notebooks that I create for each project. That way I can tote them throughout the house, on the job or in a suitcase for travel and everything goes where I go. I've spent a fortune on vinyl page protectors over the years!

040910_tf_modem.jpgWe just moved, and for the first time possibly ever, we were completely prepared. It's amazing what a little planning and forethought will do. Boxes were labeled, the fridge was stocked with necessities, and we're on our way to saving tons of dough by buying our own cable modem online instead of renting from the cable provider (And it turns out there's a few more digital charges we can avoid getting stuck with!)

040810iPadMagazines.jpgIt's been nearly a week since the Apple iPad entered my our lives (Emily is loving it for future kitchen recipe duty) and overall it's proven to be the sort of device, although a luxury, easily and quickly assumes the role of a necessity. I was specifically excited about the idea of transitioning to subscribing/reading magazines on the iPad, with a handful of mags ready to download or subscribe at launch whetting the appetite. I've tested a few titles thus far and the jury is still out that magazines are offering anything worth noting quite yet.

040810saveink.jpgToners can cost us quite a bit of cash and tend not to play very nice with the environment, so anything that'll reduce our ink usage is always welcome in our book. So, when a professor at the University of Wisconsin found out that using Century Gothic would use up 30% less ink, we just had to share it with our readers...
