In a continuation of their gritty marketing campaign for The Dark Knight Rises, Warner Brothers recently released a trio of brand new posters featuring Batman (Christian Bale), Catwoman (Anne Hathaway), and Bane (Tom Hardy) in stunning solo representations. All three are atmospheric and intense, keeping with the series trademark mood and dark realism. The Dark Knight Rises is set to release on July 20th.

Along with Bruce Lee and Jet Li, Jackie Chan is one of my all time favorite martial artist superstars. His stunt work is unparalleled to this day, but after decades of death defying crazy fight scenes, Jackie Chan, who is 58, is announcing that Chinese Zodiac will be his last action film. Many people, including myself, don’t want to believe that he’s going to retire. “They say `no, you’re still young, you can still do it,’ but I have to stop one day.” In honor of the Hong Kong hero, here’s a video of his top 10 fight scenes.

Starting Saturday, May 19, Universal Pictures will be giving you a chance to feast your eyes on amazing costumes from Snow White and the Huntsman designed by Colleen Atwood, the film’s Oscar-winning designer. The pop-up gallery will be located at 7710 Melrose Avenue, in Los Angeles, and runs weekends through Sunday, June 3.

In addition to the amazing costumes, a custom 12-ft mirror mural from MEAR ONE will be on display. MEAR is an internationally renowned artist, whose early work helped define L.A. graffiti, and who is now redefining political, visionary painting. His paintings often feel like they belong to some sort of dark fairy tale, so he was the perfect artist to create an original work inspired by the new movie.

If you really want to get into the pop-up action, the gallery also provides an opportunity to create your own memorabilia using on-site equipment and eight original designs. For more information on the film and event, and to check out the latest trailer, visit www.snowwhiteandthehuntsman.com.

The gangster film genre can always use new additions, especially when they look as good as Gangster Squad. The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer who’s mostly known for comedies like Zombieland and 30 Minutes or Less, but rest assured, this movie is looking serious. We’re talking Sean Penn, Nick Nolte Josh Brolin, and Ryan Gosling with shotguns serious. Also on the cast is Emma Stone who seems to have shed her usual dork persona for something more elegant, and we’re not mad! Here are more details about the plot:

the mafia drama depicts the Los Angeles Police Department’s fight to keep Brooklyn-born mob boss Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) from running 1940s LA. Based on Paul Lieberman’s “Tales From the Gangster Squad” articles.

Look out for the film to hit theaters October 19th!

Whether or not, you’re a fan of super producer Swizz Beats’ rhymes, the beats certainly do bang. This particular track reminds us of the type of songs he used to do back in the aughts, with those signature keyboard sounds we’re used to hearing Ruffryders like the Lox and DMX on. Newcomer A$AP Rocky also tags along to spit a solid verse but the real star of the video might be Reebok. It’s really Reebok everything. Ha! Look out for the new Swizz Beats mixtape Limitless.
